Game Times TBA Why Small Sided Games?
Small-sided games allow the players more touches on the ball and 4v4 is the smallest manifestation of a real match. It creates an environment for young players to experience real soccer with all principles of play. The small scale encourages short runs and passes and also puts players in a greater percentage of scoring moments since there is no goalkeeper. Players are forced to be more involved in the play which is an important element in developing their knowledge and love of the game. Positions and formations in 6v6 soccer allow a high percentage of touches on the ball while incorporating a goalkeeper. With these fundamentals in mind, our philosophy is to develop players technical skills in conjunction with TEAMWORK and FUN.

Alpine FC
Youth Academyin association withSuccess Through Soccer

To instill a love for the game! The Alpine FC Youth Academy is designed to teach players the basic skills and fundamentals of soccer. Trainers will focus on developing each player’s technical ability (dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, etc). Also, players will become familiar with each position and how to interact from that position during the game. Players will compete in 3v3, 4v4 and 6v6 small-sided games. Small-sided games and repetition will give players more touches on the ball and prepare them for authentic game play at a later age as they develop more physically and mentally. Small-sided games will also give players more exposure to both attacking and defending situations, which keeps every player more involved in the game. The Alpine FC Youth Academy's main objective is to ensure soccer success through FUNinnovative training sessions that encourage young players to reach their highest potential. The Alpine FC Academy will solely focus on the development of the player rather than the winning aspect of the team.
